Opening that will take place in Marbella in July and August.
There are just two weeks left to
start the new edition of Starlite Festival, the revelation Festival in Europe
that will take place every night from the 23rd of July to the 24th of August in
Marbella’s Cantera. The artist in charge of opening the spectacular concert
series will be Bryan Adams. The Canadian artist will arrive to Marbella the 24th
of July, the only Spanish date and also the closing of his Worldwide Tour ‘The
Barebones Tour’. This concert has generated a great expectation, which reflects
on the ticket sales, as several areas of the auditorium are already sold out.
The author of the mythical hits like ‘Heaven’,
‘Summer of 69’ o ‘(Everything I Do) I Do It For You’ is
one of the alive Rock legends, so his concert at Starlite is an unavoidable
date and the best way to start this edition. Moreover, his fans will be able to
enjoy an intimate concert, as the auditorium’s capacity is for 2.500 people.
After the Bryan Adams opening,
Starlite Festival has other great concerts among the first dates. Jamie Cullum
will be performing on July 27th, a singer, pianist and British
composer who has broken all the barriers between jazz and pop, and tradition
and modernity. Cullum, who has sold more than 10 million copies and
collaborated with artists such as Stevie Wonder or Pharrell Williams, will
present his new album ‘Momentum’. The day after, on July 28th, Noa’s
elegance will arrive to Marbella’s Cantera. Accompanied by her usual
collaborator, Gil Dor, and the Neapolitan string quartet Solis String Quartet,
the Israeli singer will perform the best of her repertoire Live, accentuating
the Mediterranean beauty of her compositions.
These three concerts will be the
Starlite Festival Opening, counting with an extraordinary programme with
artists such as Enrique Iglesias,
Alejandro Sanz, Julio Iglesias, Paco de Lucía (in his first performance in
Spain in three years), David Bisbal, Sra
Baras performance for Starlite (created exclusively for Starlite), La Orquesta Buena Vista Social Club con
Omara Portuondo & Eliades Ochoa, Malú, UB40, the musical shows Forever King of Pop y Grease, in
concert or ‘Una Noche Movida’s concert, where Spanish pop historic
artists will get together such as Rafa Sánchez from La Unión, Nacho
Campillo from Tam Tam Go, Nacho García Vega
from Nacha Pop, Alejo Stivel from Tequila and Hombres G.
